We regret to advise that our 2017 schedule is now booked out. We normally have a number of trips walking along each of the following sections :
Navarra section (Pamplona to Logrono)*
La Rioja section (Logrono to Burgos)**
Pyrenees section (St Jean Pied de Port to Pamplona)***
*The NAVARRA section is the section between Pamplona and Logrono, (this trip includes a private guided tour of Bodegas Irache, a third generation family run winery and one of the largest independent Bodegas in Spain). We recommend the NAVARRA section for those who have not booked with us before/undertaken a hike on the Camino de Santiago before. It is possibly the least challenging of the three sections and represents a lovely mix of walking each day/beautiful scenery/winery visit/photo opportunities/rest time. The overall distance walked on this trip is 100km
**The LA RIOJA section is the follow-on section between Logrono and Burgos. Booking for this section is open to everyone however it tends to get booked up very quickly by people returning for a second year, having undertaken the NAVARRA section with us the previous year. It is however also very suitable for those who have not undertaken any of the Camino before, being predominantly easy-going terrain /without many hills/and again with beautiful scenery. The overall distance walked on this trip is 125km
***The PYRENEES section. This is the section from the recognised “start” of the Camino in St Jean Pied de Port, in France, to Pamplona in Spain. Bookings for this section are usually only open to those who have undertaken at least one trip with us before on either the La Rioja or Navarra sections. Whilst the distance walked is shorter on this section than the two others above at approx. 70km, it is more challenging as we cross through the Pyrenees from France into Spain during the week. This trip also features a stay in an albergue, or hostel, on two of the nights.
All trips commence on a Saturday and finish the following Saturday.
